The Hawk Typhoon Ib was the successor to the Hawker Hurricane. The Typhoon would go on to serve as a ground-attack aircraft. This capability allowed for better assault strategies across Europe following the events of D-Day. The Typhoon used a 24-cylinder Napier Sabre engine. Eventually, the Typhoon transitioned into a fighter bomber. When fully assembled, this 1/72 scale model measures 134mm long and 174mm wide.
