Airfix DE HAVILLAND CHIPMUNK T.10/T.20

The de Havilland Chipmunk provided the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) with a successor for the de Havilland Tiger Moth. It is significant to be the first all-Canadian-built de Havilland aircraft. 1,283 Chipmunks were manufactured for the British. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight continues to fly two Chipmunks regularly for training aircrew assigned with the historic 'taildraggers'. This model kit with 84 plastic parts faithfully recreates the De Havilland Chipmunk T.10 or T.20 in 1/48 scale. The fully assembled model is 16.15cm long, 4.5cm tall and has a wingspan of 21.7cm.
