The Gloster Javelin was a two-seat all-weather interceptor of the 1950s in service with the RAF. The aircraft is recognized as the final aircraft to bear the Gloster name. The Javelin is distinct for its large finned T-Tail and the characteristic broadness of its delta wing. The Javelin endured an uneasy life, changing nine marks in a short period of time and seeing action only during the Malayan campaign of 1963-1966.
