A new release for 2022, is the 1/48 scale Vampire F.3 from Airfix. An early RAF jet aircraft, the Vampire was famous for a number of firsts. It was the RAF's first airframe to reach and exceed 500mph, as well as being the first fighter-type aircraft with enough range to cross the Atlantic.
