Early Curtiss Tomahawk fighters operated as reconnaissance aircraft. Subsequent models saw extensive service in the Western Desert, pushing the Italians out of Libya before facing the newly arrived Messerschmitts. RAF No.112 Squadron's shark-mouthed Tomahawks became among the most famous aircraft of WWII. This model kit with 106 plastic parts authentically recreates the Curtiss Tomahawk MkII in 1/48 scale. The fully assembled model is 20.2cm long and 23.7cm wide.
