In March 1937, the No. 114 Squadron of the RAF obtained their first Bristol Blenheim Mk.I. This aircraft ushered in a new age of aviation and was capable of carrying massive payloads for sorties against targets based in the UK and France. Although the efforts of the Allies were heroic, the RAF suffered many losses.
