The M7 Priest was a US-built self-propelled howitzer using an M3 Lee chassis. Supplied to the British, the US guns and ammo were initially used until they could be converted to the British 25 pounder field gun. The M7 was nicknamed "Priest" due to the shape and positioning of the machine gun mount resembling a pulpit. Its armor was 12-62mm thick and it had a range of 193km. The Priest was equipped with 105mm Howitzers. A total of 3,489 were built with their service utilized in virtually every combat theatre throughout WWII. Following the war, the Priest was used in the Korean War, as well as efforts in West Germany and Israel. When fully assembled, this 1/35 scale model measures 125mm long and 65mm wide.
