The T35 armed with the 85mm gun began service in 1944, with approximately 400 tanks on the frontlines. Popular with crewmen, they replaced the T-34/76 in the summer of 1944 and was pivotal during the events of Operation Bagration, which was the operation by the Soviets in conjunction with the Allied forces landing at Normandy Beach and quite possibly the largest offensive undertaken by the Soviet Army in history. When fully assembled, this 1/35 scale model measures 19.1cm long and 8.6cm wide. This is a reboxing of the former Academy kit.
