The M36B1 entered service in October of 1944 built upon an unmodified M4A3 Sherman chassis. The success of the M36 Jackson in combat created a huge demand for more vehicles mounting the 90 mm high-velocity gun. The M36B1s filled the gap by mounting an M36 turret directly on a Sherman hull. This American WWII tank destroyer saw action in Europe facing down the Wehrmacht's mightiest tanks. When fully assembled, this 1/35 scale model measures 213mm long and 87mm wide. This kit is a rebox of the excellent Academy release.
