The M10 was a WWII American tank destroyer. The TD utilized an open-top rotating turret and was developed in 1942. Following several modifications, the tank was ready for manufacture in June of 1943. It fielded a 76.2mm (three-inch) gun and was built upon an M4A2 Sherman chassis. Being the most significant US tank destroyer of the Second World War, the M10 served right up to the end of hostilities, despite being outclassed by later German heavy tanks and tank destryers. When fully assembled, this 1/35 scale model measures 195mm long and 87mm wide. This kit is a rebox of the excellent Academy release.
